African Warrior Princess Aqualtune of Angola.

Aqualtune was an African Princess Warrior born in Present day Angola in the late 16th Century,  She was considered to be the Unknown figure during the Afro- Brazilian resistance she led an army of 1, 000 men in the battle of Mbila during the Kingdom of Kongo and Portugal there was a defeat of Congolese,  her grandson was Zumbi dos Palamares she fought bravely alongside more than 10, 000 men against the Portuguese rule after a long battle in 1665,  She was captured and brought to Brazil she was sold to a Portuguese farmer in Recife in Pernambuco later she organized among several Africans enslaved attempts to escaped she also freed more than 200 Africans and went to Palamares quilombo, She had 3 children called Ganga Zumba, Sabina the mother of Zumbi dos Palamares.  Zumbi was an important historical Warrior among Blacks in Brazil who contributed for freedom such as Dandara, Tereza, Luisa and Aqualtune who fought bravely under the leadership of the Maroon quilombo communities in Brazil which they fought against Slavery and racismo translated from Portuguese to English as racism , Others claimed she was brought from Angola and crossed the west coast which it is believed the Portuguese brought her with 1, 000 men and women to Saõ Jorge de Mina fort in Gold Coast Present day Ghana during Conversion to Catholicism by the Portuguse later brought to Brazil on a merchant ship She was only 30 and jumped off the Ship and fell into the Ocean escaping from Slavery with the mentality of going back to Angola,  She was swimming without any swimming lessons then the Portuguese governor was angry and called Other Portuguese to take her out from Ocean back to the Ship they make mockery of her and bullied her they finally went ahead and got her pregnant while asleep she had a dream and the dream was Interpreted that she should established a Kingdom for her people in Pernambuco in 1630s the Dutch and Portuguese dominated this area,  there was a war commanded by the paulistas to destroy the quilombo one of the most painful thing to do in 1677 She was an Older woman and burned the Colonial expeditions it is believed her death was not recorded which is Unknown the Maroons in Quilombo remained and formed an army under the leadership of Aqualtune and finally defeated the flag of Saõ Paulo, Domingos Jorge Velho .   They praticed Candomble which they sang songs and prayed to the Creator and the Ancestors asking them that their nephew and Ganga Zumbi will follow the footsteps of Zumbi and represent the Ancinet Warriors of their Angolan- Congolese lineages or heritage, She was sold to a sugar plantations in Porto Calvo during the 6 months she was forced and abused by the Portuguese she freed herself and others which they organized fought even some African brought as Slaves run away from their Slaveowners.
